Vadodara Religious Places
Vadodara Religious Places show the culture, history, and different beliefs of the city in a very simple way. There are many temples and peaceful places where people go to pray and spend quiet time. One famous place is the EME Temple. It is managed by the Indian Army and has a dome made of aluminum. The design of this temple includes ideas from many religions. Another important place is Kirti Mandir. It was built in 1936 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. This place was made in memory of the Gaekwad family. It has beautiful wall paintings made by artist Nandalal Bose. These paintings show stories from the Mahabharata in a simple and clear way.
BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir Atladra is also a popular temple in the city. It is known for its detailed stone work and very clean surroundings. Many festivals are celebrated here with the help of volunteers. In Sursagar Lake, there is a tall statue of Lord Shiva called Sarveshwar Mahadev. It is about 120 feet high and looks very nice, especially in the evening.

Statue Of Unity
The Statue of Unity is around 90 km from Vadodara and is the tallest statue in the world. Its height is 182 meters. Vadodara is the nearest big city, so many people travel from here to visit it. You can take a train like the Jan Shatabdi Express to reach Ekta Nagar.
The statue area has five zones, but only three are open for visitors. There is a viewing gallery at 153 meters high. From there, visitors can see the Sardar Sarovar Dam and nearby hills. It is a good experience for visitors. Tickets can be booked online from the official website. The place is closed on Mondays.
